Same issues here. I’ve had multiple iPhones, from the first generation to the newest one. AT&T service just plain sucks in Dallas. Calls are garbled, calls drop with “Called Failed”, and sometimes people have to struggle to hear me at the other end. The phone is next to useless sometimes.

I cannot wait the iPhone goes to Sprint or Verizon.
